Theoretical and scientific-practical periodical edition " Russian Journal of Biotherapy " was founded in 2002 by the Research Institute of Experimental Diagnostics and Therapy of Tumors, FSBI “N.N. Blokhin National Medical Research Center of Oncology”, Ministry of Health of Russia with the aim to systemize studies that refer to biotherapy of various diseases. " Russian Journal of Biotherapy " was registered in the State Committee of the Russian Federation of Press in 21.01.2002 (registration certificate PI #77-11695), then reregistered in Federal Service of surveillance in communication, information technologies and mass communications (registration certificate of means of mass information PI # FS77-53039 04.03.2013). In 2003 the Journal received the number of international registration ISSN 1726-9784.
Editorial board includes leading Russian and foreign scientists, who represent major research centers of Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Ekaterinburg, Nizhniy Novgorod, Reims (France), Omaha, Seattle, Salt Lake City (USA).
Since 2004 "Russian Journal of Biotherapy" is included in the "List of scientific and scientific-technical editions issued in RF, which are recommended for publication of main results of dissertations for obtaining PhD and DrSc Degrees ", that was approved by Higher Attestation Commission of RF (VAK RF).
